The happy hour is being hosted by Ris, a local woman-owned business. Attendees will have access to a semi-private event space and cash bar. TOHO is also accepting reservations for guests who would like to sit down for a delicious dinner following the happy hour.
Guests 21+ are welcome to attend. An RSVP is requested by January 26th. Guests are encouraged to extend the invitation to others but note that this is a private event so please do not share publicly on social media. Email any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
RIS is an upscale neighborhood restaurant serving seasonal American cuisine. A James Beard nominated chef, Ris Lacoste is chef and owner of her West End DC neighborhood bistro.

Her innovative regional American fare drew national and local attention and earned her numerous awards. RIS is proud to be in the 2016 Michelin Guide DC as one of DC’s top restaurants.
Lacoste is also well known for her commitment to community involvement. She actively participates in all fundraising efforts in the District. She currently sits on the advisory board of the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History, The Kitchen Cabinet; she is a member of the State Department’s Culinary Diplomatic Corps.
She recently was honored as one of the Class of 2015 DC’s Most Powerful Women from Washingtonian Magazine and is a member of Leadership Greater Washington’s Class of 2017.
